This is the plans for my Front cover and Contents page of my Music magazine
Front Cover
I chose to use the Name 'soul' because I believe that the magazine will provide information about the Genre of rock and makes the reader think that they are in the soul of the rock industry. I used the fornt cover picture as 'Battleborn' because a band known as the killers released an album known as BattleBorn. The front cover also has text on the front that has other things such as offers like 'win a free t-shirt.' This wil get the audience interested with the magazine as they have the opportunity to win a free item.
Also, I have included conventional items such as the Bar code and price as well as the issue of the magazine that will help people understand what the price of the magazine is and if it is worth buying. The issue will also help the audience understand if it is the most recent version of the magazine.
Contents Page
In the contents page, I have included columns on my contents page to help make the page even out. I have also included a photo which will be a photo of the band, Kings of Leon' who are a popular rock band. I have also included a special offer on subscribing to the magazine as this will attract more people to the magazine and make more money for the magazine as more people would subcribe.
I have also included conventional items on the contents page such as the issue of the magazine and photos. I have also included a photo and columns which are one of the many conventional items on a music magazine.
